The Parkinson Alliance Launches New Website
(March 22, 2018) – Kingston, NJ– The Parkinson Alliance today launched a redesigned website and new logo with fresh, bright colors.
“Our new website provides a clear message of who we are, and what we stand for,” said Carol Walton, CEO of The Parkinson Alliance. “Along with our new logo, the new website makes clear that we are “one family” with the Unity Walk and Team Parkinson, serving as their parent organization, but also raise money and fund and conduct research in our own right.”
The new website boasts a clean design and is also fully responsive with mobile devices, making it easy to navigate on a wide range of web browsers and portable devices. Popular social media posts are accessible from the homepage. Going forward, The Parkinson Alliance will continue to communicate regularly through new blogs, patient stories and research reports, and provide new articles and news notifications.
“When Marty and I started the Alliance in 1999, our main goal was to spark more research funding, and to serve as an advocate for the voice of those with Parkinson’s,” said Margaret Tuchman, who founded The Parkinson Alliance with her husband, Martin Tuchman. “I am so proud that today, thousands of people have participated in our patient-centered outcomes research surveys, and that together with the Unity Walk and Team Parkinson, we have funded more than $30 million in research.”
“We’re really proud of the new website and feel it reflects the tremendous energy of our organization and people,” she added.
