The 17th Central Coast Follies “American Dreams” Show Was an Inspiring Tribute and Raised Proceeds for The Parkinson Alliance

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA, October 4, 2019 – On October 4 through 6, 2019, the fabulous Central Coast Follies, and guest artists sang and danced their way into our hearts in “American Dreams” to support the San Luis Obispo Food Bank Coalition and The Parkinson Alliance. The 17th annual event at the beautiful Spanos Theatre on the campus of Cal Polytech in San Luis Obispo, CA was an inspiring collaboration of songs that honored those that have followed and reached the American Dream through their sacrifice, risk-taking, and hard-work…and celebrated those who still believe and pursue their dreams.

We are thankful to the Follies for their longstanding support of our organization and Parkinson’s disease research. Since the year 2000, the Central Coast Follies and Central Coast Parkinson’s Association, along with their community donors from the Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo area, have contributed over $450,000 to The Parkinson Alliance. The mission of The Parkinson Alliance is to raise funds for research to end Parkinson’s disease, support the development of new therapies, and improve the quality of life for those living with the disease through patient-centered research and resources.
