University of Michigan to Study Risk of Falls in PD

(October 10, 2014) – With an $11.5M grant from NINDS, part of NIH, the University of Michigan becomes a Morris K. Udall Center for Excellence in Parkinson’s Disease Research. The University of Michigan researchers will focus on better understanding the disease’s effect on walking and balance, and developing a treatment to prevent falls in PD patients. Read more…
