OHSU Study Validates Deep Brain Surgery While Asleep for Parkinson’s Patients

(November 6, 2017) – Most brain surgeons in the U.S. perform Deep Brain Stimulation surgery with patients awake the whole time. At Oregon Health Science University, neurologists have been doing awake surgeries since 2011.
