Acorda Therapeutics announces Inbrija Approved in US to Treat Off Periods in Parkinson’s Patients on Carbidopa/Levodopa

February 28, 2019 — Acorda Therapeutics issued a press release announcing that INBRIJA is now available by prescription in the United States. INBRIJA (levodopa inhalation powder) is a prescription medicine used for the return of Parkinson’s symptoms (known as OFF episodes) in people treated with carbidopa-levodopa medicines. INBRIJA does not replace regular carbidopa-levodopa medicines.
