The Parkinson Alliance mourns the death of its co-founder, Allen Dale Severance

Allen Dale Severance, Esq., 68, of Syracuse, passed away on September 8, 2009 after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease.  A kind and generous man. A mischievous smile and hearty laugh. A love for his large and growing family. A never-ending well of stories and adventures of his youth. A compassion and commitment to the law and his clients. An acceptance of his life-changing Parkinson’s disease. The will and energy to fight for more research, more knowledge and more awareness locally and nationally of what it means for families living with Parkinson’s disease. A man to be remembered for his smile, his humor and his contentment with life as he was dealt it. “Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage” - Anais Nin
