First Choice Bank Golf Classic donates $39,000 to local charities: Hamilton Area YMCA, The Parkinson Alliance, Advancing Opportunities.

HAMILTON, NEW JERSEY – December 12, 2012 - First Choice Bank presented 3 local charities today with donations raised at their 3rd Annual Golf Classic in September.  The event held at Cherry Valley County Club in Skillman was held on September 10, 2012 and hosted over 200 golfers for a beautiful day on the links.  First Choice Bank organized the outing to benefit 3 local Mercer County non profits.  The Hamilton Area YMCA, Advancing Opportunities and The Parkinson Alliance all received $13,000 from the proceeds of the event.  

“These organizations serve their membership and clients with the utmost respect and attention and First Choice Bank wanted to recognize this.” said Randy Hanks, First Choice Bank’s CEO, “This is our 3rd year and each year the event grows to support the non profits that do such wonderful work here in Mercer County.” 

First Choice Bank has donated over $75,000 to 8 local organizations over the past 3 years from the outing’s proceeds. 

“As a community bank it is our mission to be involved and support the community that we serve” said Hanks,   “We are always looking for opportunities to support the communities that we are a part of and truly appreciate the work that these non profits do.”

First Choice Bank opened its first branch in Lawrenceville in 2007, the first community bank to open in the area in 40 years. Since then, they have grown steadily, opening five additional branches in Mercer County and most recently their sixth location in Kingston, NJ.
