The Science Behind Exercise and Improved Motor Function in Parkinson

Epidemiological and clinical studies have shown that exercise is beneficial for patients with Parkinson’s disease.  The Parkinson Alliance and Team Parkinson supported  a grant at the University of Southern California  to better understand changes in dopamine regulation with exercise and how they influence behavior in individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
