Parkinson's Action Network-Annual Public Policy Forum

The Public Policy Forum was a unique educational conference that bought together Parkinson’s advocates from across the country in our Nation’s Capitol. The Forum encouraged advocates to learn more about issues surrounding Parkinson’s disease and provided them with the opportunity to meet with their legislators.

The Forum offered informative sessions featuring:

  • Grassroots advocacy training
  • Scientific breakthroughs by the nation’s leading Parkinson’s specialists
  • Legislative issues and priorities for 2002
  • Federal Funding for Parkinson’s research

A visit with legislators on Capitol Hill
