Lynn E. Fielder
Advisory Board Member
Currently Vice President of Medical Services for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, Lynn oversees a broad scope of reproductive health and other medical services for over 35 clinics throughout California and Nevada. She has been with the affiliate since 1990, and was instrumental in helping it grow to become the largest Planned Parenthood affiliate in the country. Prior to her position at Planned Parenthood, Lynn worked in the field of international development in Washington, D.C., working mostly in Latin America.
Lynn received a Masters of Public Health with an emphasis in Material Child Health from U.C. Berkeley, and a Masters of Arts from The Food Research Institute at Stanford University.
Diagnosed with Parkinsons disease in the early 1990s, Lynn lives her life to its fullest with her husband and grade-school age daughter in Northern California. She is outspoken in advocacy and educating about the disease. The convergence of her abortion rights advocacy and the promise of scientific breakthroughs using fetal tissue or stem cells has led Lynn to become a national spokesperson in this arena.
